Peggy combines in-depth knowledge of Eastern Japanese
Shiatsu and Western Therapeutic Massage to provide you with the best possible care. Whether you need total relaxation,
stress reduction or injury rehabilitation Peggy can help. Private practice experience includes working with oncology clients, clients
living with terminal cancer, and clients with rheumatiod arthritis. Her advanced training and experience
also includes Pre-natal Massage. Peggy is the Geriatric Massage Therapist at Ebenezer Care Center in Minneapolis. Past experience includes working as a faculty member at CenterPoint Massage &
Shiatsu Therapy School where she taught Career Development, Massage Techniques, and developed a class focusing on working
with cancer clients from both an Eastern and Western therapeutic perspective. Her experience at CenterPoint also included managing the student clinic and coordinating
the school's involvement as the official massage therapists for the Twin Cities Marathon.
Peggy has a B.A. degree in Sociology from St. Cloud State University. Her former career
included managerial positions in corporate America as an instructor for adult learners and a methods and procedures
analyst. She can personally vouch for the value of getting regular body work in this sometimes stressful world.
Peggy is nationally certified as a therapeutic massage therapist and body worker (NCTMB),
and is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).
