Shiatsu is a Japanese form of bodywork based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Vital energy (Qi) flows along well-defined pathways known as meridians (or channels) throughout the body. Stress,
injury, or an immoderate lifestyle can cause blockages or a depletion of Qi leading to aches, pains, fatigue and other symptoms
of disease. Shiatsu helps restore and maintain Qi’s healthy circulation by using pressure, massaging, and stretching
techniques along the meridians.
Shiatsu is deeply relaxing and meditative.
